California Swim helps spotlight ocean conservation

Mission Blue’s Shannon McIntyre Rake joined KTVU to discuss ocean conservation efforts in Bodega Bay following a recent visit from Bay Area native Catherine Breed, who is undertaking a historic 900-mile swim along the California coast. Along the way, Breed is stopping in coastal communities to shine a light on the people and organisations working to protect the ocean.
