What happens to young sea turtles after they are rescued, rehabilitated, and released?

Follow the remarkable journeys of Tolkien, Mpho, and other juvenile loggerheads as miniature satellite tags reveal their movements through South Africa’s Hope Spots and into the open ocean. The Two Oceans Aquarium Turtle Conservation Centre and Upwell Turtles are helping scientists better understand the turtles’ “lost years” and identify where stronger ocean protections are needed.
